My first foray back into painting in 1996 and the beginning of my more earnest attempts at tackling Watercolor.

The story behind this painting is as conceptually surreal as are the elements it contains.

Emotions and real life events seem to drive my passion for painting and this one was a real kick start.

I struggled with things in this painting that emulated the real life struggles I was also enduring. I learned a lot from this painting and I believe each lesson helped me with the next chapter and painting that I would tackle.

So, cheers to the Man in the Moon.
