This collection, Feminine, was a period of time for me that was highly introspective and quiet.

I was processing a lot of things emotionally and a lot of what came through in these paintings turned out to be rather prophetic.

I'd really rather that a viewer take this painting in and like the others that belong to this collection, absorb it and allow it to mean whatever it does to it's viewer...

The same conceptual theory is in practice here, I use subject matter to represent certain things and the combination of them to form a cohesive 'story'.

In this painting "Sense", I did something that I only occasionally do... and I hid some things in it. I've done that in a few of them but none as dramatically as I did in this one.

If you can imagine, lying in the grass on a Spring Day, looking at clouds and forming pictures in your mind of what the clouds look like - then use that same "eye" to seek out things in this painting... and perhaps you will discover them without my having to point them out.

This painting was the last in this set before I learned about the tumor in my head and it turned out to be the most prophetic of the 5 of them, to me.
